My parents are serving a mission for our church in Boston, Massachusetts. They left in April and have really been enjoying this opportunity. As part of their assignment, they are helping with the "digital mission" which means that they reach out to people through blogs, etc. My mom encouraged me to write a post for one of the blogs, so I did. Today it was published and here is the link:

I decided to write about my experience with my youngest daughter whose birth and early years were so full of medical problems. Those times were quite challenging but I grew a lot spiritually. I had so little control over my daughter's health and I felt so helpless, but I could always pray. I learned how to rely on and listen to God's answers and I am very thankful for that.
And I'm so thankful for this cute little girl! Every child is a miracle but she's REALLY a miracle. I don't know why we were so blessed to keep her with us but I know she's supposed to be here.
