Yesterday, our youngest child graduated from seminary. It was a happy occasion for us. Camille enjoyed seminary. It was one of her favorite classes in high school and she learned a lot. Here she is with the other graduates from our ward: Smith Broadbent (her 3rd cousin!), Hudson Heath, and Sam Conover, along with our bishop, Nathan Lambert. During the meeting, the stake president shared with us how he visited his father for the last time when his father was dying of cancer. The last words from his father were, "Remember who you are." And that's the message I'd like to share with my children too. I hope they can remember they are children of God and He loves them even more than we do. Seminary graduation represents a lot of effort from not just students but also parents, teachers, and church leaders to help our children learn about and hopefully value the gospel of Jesus Christ.
