Recently I went through our old pictures and realized we have two family pictures that I really like. Unfortunately both of them have gotten badly faded over the years of hanging on the wall. Since they were pre-digital photo days, I had no original digital files or duplicates to work with. I decided to take them both in to a photo shop to have them Photoshop/re-colorize them, not knowing how much this would cost. It ended up costing $200 for the two pictures! Was it worth it? How do you decide what a picture is worth? I ultimately decided it was worth it. Here are the pictures with the faded versions before the Photoshopped versions.
The first is from spring 1997 in front of the Washington, DC temple. I just love seeing pictures of our family from those early days.
The second is from spring 2002. I was quite pregnant with Talmage and I love the look on Susanna's face.
